![]() Improve shot consistency over the full working pressure range of the airgun's air reservoir capacity.Enhance your airgun's accuracy by eliminating the power curve (bell curve) as the air pressure in the reservoir falls. This doesn't seem to be the case with other airgun regulator manufacturers, so we often find this feature goes overlooked by the customer until the time comes for servicing, maintenance or repairs.ĭepending on your power output, air reservoir volume and / or other airgun characteristics, users can expect all or at least a combination of the following benefits after installing a Lane regulator: The parts that make our regulator are of a size and shape that a customer can service without specialist tools. I can't understand why they aren't fetching fantastic money, because they are excellent.Despite the Lane regulator being revered for its high quality and mechanical performance, the aspects taken into consideration during its design wasn't just for functionality but longevity and customer serviceability. I have owned since, (in factory FAC, this is,) an Air Arms S410 Extra FAC, and an Air Ranger 40 ft/lbs, and to be perfectly honest, the FX2000 for me was by far the best one to use. I had it converted to FAC, at about 24ft/lbs and it was extremely accurate. I used to own an FX2000, and I regret ever selling it. Hi, I'm thinking that maybe the seals are getting a bit weak. However, I am curious as to why it was so inaccurate when illegal? Do FAC air need different mods or pellets?Ī friend had an AAS200 that was giving about 21ft lb when he naughtily fiddled with it but there was only a change in point of impact.Īnyway, all legal and accurate and I suppose an illustration of the dangers of buying privately without checking the power. After googling I located the power thingy and have turned it down to about 11.6ft lb which seems to have solved the problem of accuracy and frequent fillups. Obvious conclusion-someone had been fiddling with the power so I borrowed a chrony and 'kin ell, it was knocking out about 20ft lb and nearly 800fps. Also when fired without the mod there was a substantial crack and blast plus it didn't seem to hold pressure or fire as many shots per fill as my HW100. Various suggestions came freely eg the mod was faulty and when it was removed there were marks and damage around the exit hole. It would shoot a tight group then just go completely off by about 6" for no reason. I've had a lot of trouble trying to get it to fire accurately, I even ended up buying a new scope (good excuse anyway) thinking that my Rhino was knackered. I bought one of these quite cheap in good nick a few weeks ago. ![]()
